Britain in 2001

My first trip overseas.

Parliament – getting out

Big Ben

Big Ben, 'Eye of London' in the background. Ferris wheel restaurant.

Trafalgar Square – Superstition says if you touch a lion you'll come back. I will. Wish i'd gotten a picture of the pigeons, the sky was just filled with the flying rats. Hey, did you know they take the Underground? It's really freaky.

Some Church in London – with really cool skulls, and the 'pretty barbed wire' that surrounds Parliament.

Tower of London

Warwick Castle – among trees

Warwick Castle – from opposite tower

Warwick Castle – fairy tale, on a hill

Warwick Castle – tower top, from below

Warwick Castle – tower

Warwick Town – London flats look like they were all designed by the same architect

Warwick Tree – big tree, here's the top from a parapet

Warwick Castle Wall

Mystery Tomb – they don't know who would have been buried in this stone coffin.

Warwick 2 Princes – painting of those 2 princes that Richard III had murdered in the tower and burried under the stairs.

Warwick Weapons – on the wall in the main hall

Warwick Wax – Animatronic Horse, and it smells like a horse too.

Warwick Wax – Guard

Warwick Wax – Woman in Mirror

Warwick Wax – Scholar

Warwick Wax – Scholar Close-up

Warwick Wax – Cybil with the Jesters!

York Castle Museum Clocks – clocks on the brain, looking for a pocket watch for dad. York Museum is very cool, this collector set asside examples of everyday items from his childhood that he was watching disappear. There are stoves, billy clubs, bikes, you name it.

York Castle Museum Cell – a jail cell, forget what time period.

York Castle Museum, Sharp's Rifles – the original weapons that the BBC series modeled there's on.

Edinburgh Scalpel Sculpture – Nationally renowned center for medical research.

Edinburgh – I'm looking at the castle at the top. Edinburgh is a city on a hill, built in layers.

Private Lives – Best (non-musical) show I've seen in my life. The set was phenomenal, and cast was, well…

Alan Rickman – He's the man!
